Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian JIu-Jitsu is a Combat Sport, and self-defense system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting to subdue or submit opponents. Known as “ The Gentle Art” Jiu-jitsu utilizes body mechanics and leverage to overcome raw strength. Created in 1914 as a branch of Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was refined and adapted by the Gracie family into what it is today.
